LDP Coordinator Course

Currently attending LDP Coordinator Course in Gua Musang.

The bus was hot, the food is so-so, but well.. learnt a few new things.

After half an hour's break, we continued on to the email management topic

"Gotong Royong"

'Gotong royong' is a Malay term for community cleanup.

The teachers banded together to give the school a new look, even with the current dilapidated buildings. Many teachers attended and worked together to complete most tasks. This will be a monthly event from now on as there is a lot more to do.

School Sports Day

The school sports day was held on the month of February

Many schools participated, and SK Kulim managed to obtain a few gold from the track events but the field events was dominated by the athletes from opposing schools.

However, the culmination of the event resulted in better bonding and sportmanship which is far more valuable than simply obtaining gold medals.

Electing School Prefect

Today the chosen prefects are officially elected and a small swearing-in ceremony was held. Dato' Ir.Shaari's wife came to officiate the event.

The school hopes that these students will conduct themselves well and be of good service to the school.

Beginning of 2008

The start of a new year promises many things to come for the school of SK Kulim. Having 12 students with 5A for the year 2007, it would be another busy year to increase that number or at least to maintain that standard.
